DIY Headlamp deflectors for 2007 A6

Can anyone suggest a DIY way to put headlamp deflectors on a 2007 A6.
Alternatively the area of the lens that needs to be masked to prevent 'dazzle' when driving abroad?

Looked at this when we took ours abroad.

Couldnt manage the time to get them changed at the dealer just before going and then again upon return so decided to see what we could buy to 'stick on'.

On the ferry was a nice pair of stick on deflectors for about £3.00 with excellent fitting instructions including a list of compatible cars.

For £3 I will use the same again next time.

Didnt you used to get some kind of yellow dye to reduce the glare?

You never know but worth checking with dealer I used to have a LHD new beetle and turns out you could flick a lever on back of the light unit to change the direction of the beam.
