    Hi,

I'm getting 2 fault codes on my AWT 1.8T.

17536 - Fuel Trim: Bank 1 (Mult): System too Lean

    and

17544 - Fuel and Trim: Bank 1 (Add) System too Lean.

I checked the reading for the MAF and it appears to be in range, but the oxygen sensor starts off at 0% then jumps to 22% and it goes between 2 fixed values of 22% and 26%.

I've another A4 with a 1.8 ADR engine, would they be the same part to swap test?

    Thanks in advance.

yo, if the plugs are the same the sensors should be safe to swap. an air leak could also cause the fault. the sort of readings you want of a lambda/oxygen sensor are ( with the engine a operating temperature ) well full range is normally 0-1volt , 0.000 - 0.999v the readings should sweep from high to low all the time eg 0.200-0.900 then 0.150-0.700 then 0.400-0.800 pretty random but normally from under half a volt to over
    . hope this helps
    regards sid
