I have had the engine managment light on my car and did leave a previous thread. I have had the sensors replaced, the cat replaced,a new air filter, a new maf sensor and the light is still comming on and reading the same fault code. The garage said all the things to do with the code has now been replaced so it maybe an electrical fault. Has anyone had a similar problem or any sugestions as to what it could be as this is really getting on my nerves now.

    Hi Pete,
I have Mk4 Golf 2001 , 1.6, 16v. Petrol .. recently I had cat changed by local garage, then back lamda showed (Bank 2) faulty so that was replaced then Bank 1 showed so that was replaced ! Emmission light still keeps coming on as soon as I am doing 60mph+ for about 5 miles plus.. Its costing me lots in changing parts I beleive that may not have been needed to change(eg lamda sensors) Am I right? What is the easiest/quickest options? please email me frankbest1@hotmail.com Thanks
