“USED” to do free checks, means they saw sense and was to survive. Anyway, do a diagnostic code read an diagnosing a problem are two separate tasks, a fault code is not concrete evidence of a fault..

Sorry, I was only making an obviously ill advised comment

Please don't take offence, it was not my intention to embarrass you or insult you, just to highlight fault codes are misleading sometimes

I completely understand I was out of order and have corrected my unintentional slur upon your good character

This may not be your bag (don't think they play this music on Radio Two but...

    Diamonds and fast cars
    Money to burn
I got my head in the clouds
I got these thoughts to churn
Got my feet in the sand
I got a house on the hill
    I got a headache like a mother
Twice the price of my thrills
    An it's a cold day, it's a continental drift
I said this traffic is hell
Can you give me a lift
An I'll try to paint a story
    Got your pictures to tell
Yeah you got to make a living

It was all I could stand
Yeah, well I'm a frequent flyer
My body's breathing while it can
But what I don't understand is that
My world ain't gettin' no brighter
If I could touch the sky
Well I would float on by
    While everybody's talkin'
    Hell I'm just another guy
If it were up to me
I'd say just leave me be
    Why let one bad apple
    Spoil the whole damn bunch
Even if they don't, I still love you Crasher

Guys. Lets be honest, dealers and garages use this diagnosis nonsense as a way of driving up revenue.

If a diagnostics machine is used it is simply plugged in by the junior muppet who then tells the mechanic a fault code, 5 mins tops for 90% of monitored faults.

Of course some faults can be a nightmare to resolve such as intermittant faults or electrical issues at which point serious time and effort may be needed to get to the heart of the matter and then I would naturally expect to have to pay for the expertise used to find it. However, charging an hours labour to diagnose a straight forward failure is taking the proverbial!

    junior muppets?

    5 mins tops?

Not sure if you're a troll or out to fan flames?

I've seen these diagnostics machines being used and I've seen the hard work, the investment and the training that goes on to ensure that people like you and the other moaning git on this thread get their moneys worth.

Despite all of this, you still assume the person using the machine is out to rip you off.

perhaps if any 'junior muppet' can use them, one would suggest those people making such infantile comments, tried diagnosing the ruddy faults themselves.

Throwing insults around on this forum isn't how we do things, so I'd advise you to keep them under wraps
