Hello I have a 54 plate Passat 1.9 tdi Highline , and i need to change the cv boot this weekend .
Does anyone know the torque settings for the big 27mm bolt at the end of the hub, and the 7mm hex bolts that hold the brake calipers on (just in case i need to remove them ..)

    Many thanks ..

    M16....190Nm plus 180 degrees.
    Boot bolts...M8 40Nm, M10 77Nm

Torque settings refer to thread size, not bolt head size. So M14 bolt will be 14mm across the diameter of the threaded bit.
