Jee Whizz!! Wicker1 sounds like the "Dealership" is performing as predicted.

What is their reasons for such a ridiculous wait???

When I ordered mine I was told 16 weeks, but that did drop week on week as it neared production.

I signed the order with my lease company for a 2.0 TDIe SE (with a few toys) on 29th September. I was initially told it would take 16 weeks which would have been delivery in Mid Jan.

Still hadn't turned up so I had a chat with the lease company last Monday and they were suggesting another week to 10 days for delivery. Hopefully this week then...

Just had my delivery date confirmed as the 19th March 2010 (having ordered on 5th December 2009). So 15 weeks in all.

I guess 15 weeks is pretty good compared to some of you guys at 18 weeks +, but I still can't help feeling let down.

Sent off my order to lease firm the company uses on 1st March and have just had indication of delivery by end of July!! How can this be right? Is it because they will be switching from MY2010 to MY2011 production, so even though I'll have to wait longer, when it comes it may have a few extras compared to current spec? If not, I'm very tempted to cancel order and switch to another brand!
