Hi Guys, I've searched the Forums for this but can't find an exact match. I have turn key central locking and the Driver side rear door does not unlock/lock. I also have a problem with the electric window on this door as it does not operate at all.

I suspect the problems are linked but also suspect the problem is not in the door itself (famous last words). So before I start to take apart the car can I ask if any fellow sufferers can help with suggestions on what I should check/do first.

    Many thanks.

in my eyes the fault lies with the wiring to the door(in the hinge area)
or a faulty door lock/solenoid thingy, and a seperate fault with window motor.
it's in the door, but like the weather forcasters,i've covered everything
    it may,or, may not be
    regards,
    stewy.
first time i was up a ladder i was down a well
    4th cog,--two to go

As stewy says check the wiring between the B pillar and the door, otherwise you will need a fault code read to see if you can communicate with the door module
