Your 90PS Golf 4 TDI has a DQY code 02J box which requires 2 litres dry capacity so as it is wet, 2 litres will be more than enough.

Hi mate, how do you go about changing your gearbox oil?
Is it a case of draining the oil stuff (like changing engine oil) and pouring new stuff into a separate hole?
    Thanks Ross

That i basically it. Make sure you can open the filler plug before draining, for obvious reasons. See the HOWTO section for some more details, but it's really dead simple.
