    i ahve a 51 plate a3 and i am trying to find out how to remove the door card front and rear, its only a 3 door so i guess that makes a difference to remove the rear door cards but can any 1 helf i have been told its fairly easy but was looking for a guide on where to startas i can onyl see the 2 screws at the top of the door near the window and the one in the door handle, which drops out the bottom of the handle to reveal 2 more screws, but dont know where to go from there or in which order.

    any help grateful

    Squinty this might be a bit late as I see you posted this back in May.
    The door panels can be removed by first undoing the screw in the door pull (handle). Then remove the plastic moulding. There should be a couple of screws underneath, take them out.Then take the two scews out at either end of the door card (front and back).
    Then lift the trim up and un hook it. Pull the trim away from the door slightly, you should see the interior door handle cable. Un hook it, but notice the hook should be facing up.
    Next disconnect the wiring looms to the switches and you should be there.
    Not had the rear trim off so can't shed any light on that one.

    hey thanks very much, finally i can upgrade my standard speakers, the whole process was fairly easy a few tricky areas at times, well not so tricky just me not payin attention to where things went and in what order.
