Hello everyone (or anyone who's interested)

Hi,

I've just joined and will be looking to pick the brains of the resident experts on here. I thought it would only be polite to introduce myself before steaming in with the "how do I" and "what's wrong with it" questions.
I have a 1998 A4 estate 1.9tdi auto in metallic green. The bodywork has been painstakingly detailed by 'chavs' unkown whilst parked in my local town car park recently and now sports a full body mid-line key-stripe on the offside and a small dent in the boot lid. Far too expensive to get repaired so I'm leaving it to add character to the overall look. I bought the car because I wanted fuel economy and need room for my two dogs. It is the first ever diesel car I've ever owned (and I've had a few) and I'm still getting used to the outrageous noise of the engine and have learnt to close all doors and windows in the house when I start it up, but at 40+ mpg I'm not moaning. .
Anyway, I look forward to finding my way around the site and speaking to some of you.
