Dash light for bulb failure came on.
Left drivers side brake light gone.
Any clues on how to remove rear light cluster.
I've looked in all the obvious places, but don't want to force it incase it snaps.
Have read other forum threads about removing inner wheel arch to access it.
I can't imagine the local VAG garage would want to go in via this route, especially if its caked in thick mud.
    Any help appreciated
    Jim

Remove the black plastic trim (with rear doors open,at inside of lamp)....which is awkward ! then you need a torx screwdriver to remove the screws.Check the bulb warning goes off b4 refitting!

    Thanks for the update.
I'd read this before, and checked before and thought that the panels were part of the rearlight cluster as they were a tight fit.
    Best Regards
