YES that is right... It does not matter if you don't have the button... As long as your lights are automatic and turn on by themselves then yes you can enable coming home lights.

And there's no other option that can enable the needed module for this? Like bending bi-xenon? I have that, but unfortunately I don't have auto lights...

no you can retro fit by taking the switched delayed earth from the interior light and converting via a relay to output to live to the front fog circuit

the only down side is the fogs will come on when you remove the ignition key as thew interior lights do

just done my own test loom today consisting of 2 5 pin relays and some wire

    Hi all,
I'm new to the forum and as a new A4 owner am keen to see what I can change on the car for the better. Can this mod be done without the auto lights or do you need them for this to work?
    Thanks
    Simon

Maybe someone could produce a kit to retrofit this similar(or even the same) as a8tech has. I think there would be a lot of interest from forum members for them! What you reckon?????

I've just had my 2009 A3 programmened for Scandinavian mode so the back lights come on with the DRL and they don't go dim, what is involved setting up the come home lights properly as I don't have a switch for it?
