I was about to ask the same question. A S-Line Special Edition pulled into our factory car park this afternoon and I noticed his fog lights came on as he locked the car. Thanks for the answer.

Hi there the lights come on when you open the door and go off after about 30-40secs when you have locked the car. Then when you unlock the car they will come on again until you get in and close the door.

I really want this feature too but as I understood it you had to have a certain controller for the lights otherwise it can't be done which is why I gave up trying to get it.

However if it can be done I would want it for sure!

I think they can only be setup if you have automatic lights as standard... Sadly I don't so I can't add this feature

I maybe missing the plot but am I right in saying that my A4 B7 2.0 TDI SE which does not have coming home lights as standard can be adjusted via a code to have these lights?

So the conclusion here is that either way if you have the button or not, you need to have auto lights (with rain sensor etc.) to be able to add the coming home lights?
