    Hi All,

    Car was running poorly, disconnected MAF - ran better, replaced MAF with Ebay part, still ran poorly so replaced with genuine Audi part car still runs poorly!!

    2002 2.5TDi V6 180 tipronic.

    Any ideas anyone ??

    Have you had a fault code read done? Bear in mind that you WILL now have an Air Mass Meter fault code stored so you will now not know if it was actually a fault or not.

    get it scanned for fault codes, but ignore the one for the maf, as you have produced this by disconnecting it. check them, note them down, erase, test drive then recheck them.
    Audi 80 tdi avant with 360,000 miles...

    Thanks guys, where is the best place to go to get faults scanned ?? Or should I buy a fault code reader ?? I'm down in deepest darkest Sussex....

    Normally a decent garage will do it for £30 or thereabouts - it's always best to get the codes checked before doing anything and avoid those tempting ebay parts.
