Hi I looked around and tried to find info on adapting my tdi estate with 4 wheel drive.

I have a donor vehicle, but it's petrol, so I was going to take the bits I need off, then put them on my tdi. Obviously it's a petrol gear box etc... but that won't be a problem. What I'm worried about is whether it'll be flagged up in a mot!
My reasoning is that they're checking emissions, brakes and so forth, but not to see if it's 4-wheel drive.

    Any thoughts on this anyone?

If you don’t change the car to petrol or re-register it as a petrol it won’t be picked up on an MOT. A 3A Syncro is a very rare car, is it a 2.0L, 2.9L VR6 or super rare G60?

    Sorry mine's a 3b5 wagon tdi, and the other is a 3b5 1.8t wagon, but syncro/ 4motion.

Thats cool, I can't find any cars the same age as mine which are 4 wheel drive that aren't petrol, shame really
