    Hello all

What are your thoughts on the current F1 season?

I think its got all the ingrediants of becoming a similar season to 1986 when Prost Mansell and Piquet all went to Australia with a chance of the championship!

Yep, looking good. Evenly matched drivers and at least four if not six fast cars. Looking forward to it. Only been watching it seriously since 2005.

Lewis Hamilton is quite an impressive driver, though I am one big Ferrari fan so it has to be Massa or Raikonnen, though he is a bit straight faced!!!
    One German, Two Italian.
    It's a Mercedes Benzzzz though

I'm a Massa fan - I like the way he handled last season partnering Schumacher and I'd put my money on him at the moment - Lewis is good and he will get better, Fernando is rattled by Lewis and as for Raikkonen, well, he needs to integrate more both with his fans and team - believe me, Ferrari will be getting behind Massa very soon if Kimi does not start to deliver and prove he's worth 5 times more the wages than Massa is getting!

I used to be really in to F1 but gradually got more and more switched off by it. Ooooh, it must be about 10 years or so ago now....

These days I don't even bother. I hope it gets good again though.

So you'd remamber the 86' season then! I know what you mean though, the late 90's and turn of the century period did get quite boring but it seems to be getting a bit better now, especially with the prospect of a night race next year

Oooh, really? (veedubber sits up in the threadbare but comfortable and rather too upright armchair). Hmmm... sounds good.

And yes, I'm right with you there on the years! Those were the days, my friend, those were the days. They don't make racing cars like they used to. I remember when it was all fields here. That's not music, you can't even tell what the words are.

    Sigh...
