On drivers door recently Ive noticed the elec window plays silly buggers sometimes, Goes down but wont come up, Goes up but wont go down etc until I open door or mess with the wires going into door card. The same applies to radio, When i open the door to get out but with engine running I noticed the door Tweeter speakers cut out, I thought it was a design that cuts the surround when door is open. Again when mess with wires they come back on or cut radio out altogether. The rubber casing around the wiring loom is in perfect condition, No rips or tears, Any advice on how i tackle this? Door card off? Common fault?

    Thanks

Pull back the rubber gaiter and check the loom for broken wires.

Before you pull the door card out it's worth trying a good squirt of WD40 into the wiring loom connector (even better if you can pull the connector out of the socket first, though it's a bit of a faff). It could be broken wires but it could also just as easily be a dodgy contact...

    no point pulling door card
you cant get to the wires that way
u have to unwrap the black tape and tackle the broken wires
they will look as tho there intact so look close its usaly the brown but maybe 1 or 2 more
also spraying with wd40 wont cure it
its a very comon problem and a few threds on it

It will if it's a dodgy contact and not a broken wire. Worked for me, and worth trying before searching for broken wires IMHO
