Highly unlikely as they changed the injectors from 06/07 call audi with your vin and they will tell you for your own peace of mind.

Finally got my recall letter (6 months to the day after I had my injectors replaced!)
Just glad Audi are finally sorting it out properly. Fair play to them.

    Cheers,

    Check out this link: http://www.dpfissues.co.uk/pd170-injector-recall-vag/

Mine's booked in to have them checked and done next Thurs. It's worth a phone call to your nearest Audi dealer.

I have had all injectors replaced a few months a go, got my letter so thinking they were sending the letters out as a matter of course, phoned Kings Lynn Audi to get it checked out and could not believe it they replaced another injector as one was the wrong seirial number, so dont dismiss the check up, i nearly did.

OK. You are obviously really cheesed off, and I understand you do this for a living, so amateur "experts" are probably the bain of your life. Even so a more constructive criticism would be more helpful to us amateurs.

I found the site really helpful. As a result I have contacted Audi and am getting my injectors sorted under warranty. I am also seriously condering deleting the DPF. So if he's got it wrong I'd like to know where.

Well, for a start the injecto recall affects only the 170 pd engine, not all 2.0 engines and definitely not the 1.9...

Got mine done last week, there had been nothing wrong with the car. It went in on wednesday for the recall . Got it back it's now erratic at low revs and drinking the juice although the mfd says it's doing 80 / gal ! Put it back in on Friday , one injector had failed , replaced . Friday night the same symptoms again. I had it in again this morning , they say there's nothing showing on diagnostics . The engine definitely sounds noisier and as if it's using more fuel, which it is but the mfd shows the opposite, which is wrong .
MY CAR WAS RUNNING FINE BEFORE THIS "ENHANCEMENT" , thank you VW UK.

Any ideas what they could have missed. I guess I keep taking it back until they fix it.
