Got my cheque today, Audi did not pay for my breakedown costs or for the loom but overall i'm a happy bunny knowing with 4 new style injectors i can now relax and enjoy the car as i should have done from the start.
170 bhp s line bose, cruise control, pdc, mfsw, flawless glossy black, Now hopefully reliable with it's new injectors

What did you do to contact Audi - presumably an email to customer services??
I had my car repaired at an independant garage, twice (1 injector & loom the first time, 3 injectors the second time. I lost confidence in the car after the second failure and changed all three remaining injectors to be sure).
It would be nice if the cost of the injectors were reclaimed to say the least!!

I had all 4 injectors replaced at independant garage a couple of months ago after audi told me they would not consider a goodwill gesture because i was not a customer of theirs!! (purchased car at indie dealer).
Has anyone had success getting indie repair costs for injectors refunded by audi and if so should i start with audi uk or local dealer?
Just really annoyed that if my problem had occured now instead of 4 mths ago i could prob get them replaced free.

Independent or not i believe Audi covering all failures contact Audi UK if that’s no use go down the Vosa route as we all did i'm sure you should get a result.

    hello all,
new to this Fourm and can't believe so many people having the same fault with A4 170.
My wifes car failed about 3 months ago, just stopped dead on a Dual carriageway luckily managed to pull over to safety but she was very shaken.
Seems that the same problem is returning again (Glow plug light starts flashing and loss of power) and she is very worried about driving it.
What is the best way to go about getting all the injectors changed FOC do I need to contact VOSA or go direct to Audi?

If it was me I'd probably ring or e-mail audi uk and if you don't get any joy fill in the vosa form - they seem to respond pretty quickly.

You will get the injectors replaced and a full refund for any you have already paid for regardless of whether it was with audi or not.
