    Default hi all newbie needs advice.. – 19-01-2010,09:56 PM
    hi all im a newbie here and could do with some advice..

    purchased a golf gt tdi 115 and bought it cheap with overheating probelms so ive replaced the gasket, radiator, thermostat and now is perfect but have a problem with it starting in the mornings ive fitted new glow plugs and checked the voltage to them and they are fine but still take a bit of cranking before starting ive noticed if you hold the pedal to the floor and try starting it, it seems to start a bit better anyone got any ideas what it could be.... thanks

    get a diag test done
    it could be a temp sensor fault

    ive done a diagnostic on the car comes up no faults and also had a new temp sensor from vw when i did the headgasket?

    timing,or the start of a battery failure,

    ive timed it up using the proper timing pegs and the battery is new?????
