I got a bit board at the weekend when the missus was at work so I decided to clean my intercooler out on my TDi. BOY was it worth it! Pulled bumper off and front panel forward to get at it. I pulled the bottom hose off and got about a cup full of manky oil out of it. I used brake cleaner to clean it out and blew the fins out with my air blower on my compressor. Lots of dust and grit came out of it. Well worth a couple hours of graft if you ask me. Probably wont make any difference but nice to know its clean! You can see it on the right hand side of the pic. Not very big is it?
