I know there are some previous comments on Fault Codes. My 04 diesel climatronic is flashing 88888 etc on start up and I have extracted codes 21A,,4FA, and 318. Can someone pl advise on how to interupt these and possible solution. Car going well but the elect fan seems to have stopped. And getting at the electrics seems difficult.
    Thanks.

Martin--appreciate the quick and helpful response; hadn't come accross this before. A good doc. Is it likely that Air Conditioner Pressure Switch and Recirculation Flap Servo Motor would malfunction together

It's quite likely the flap motor has been faulty for ages, especially if you have ever heard it ticking. The air con pressure switch is probably the new fault. It may just need regassing or the switch may have failed..
