    Hi all, can anyone help? I have a Concert single CD player fiited and want to fit a changer in the boot where is the cable on the car or is there not one supplied. I have a 13 pin Kenwood cable and changer to fit to the concert if this will work . many thanks

    There is not normally a cable run in the later A4's as the factory changer was fitted in the glovebox.

    You Kenwood unit won't work with the Concert unless you have some sort of Audi/Kenwood adapter. They talk different languages, and the connectors are different.

    Not my most helpful answer that one really....

    Hi , many thanks for ur reply. I have found the web page for the vehicle codes located in the service book, all it states is Cd . where if there is a lead fitted will it be located in the boot? Or do i purchase a lead for the concert unit pugged in at the rear and then the adaptor to the Kenwood changer.

    Any advice is always welcome.

    If it only states CD on the spec, then the cable almost certainly won't be there. They stopped fitting them at the time of the Concert II CD/Tuner being fitted.

    You'll need to get a specific adapter for your Kenwood, and I suspect you'll need to buy an appropriate front to rear lead separately.
