Does anyone know the interval for changing the cambelt as I have no service book with the car? My mechanics book says 50,000km which is about 31000mls which seems very low to me. Main Audi site also says every 5 years (not model specific).

The last invoice in the records for the cambelt was in May 2005 on 58,500 and the car has since covered a further 23,000mls.
