Remove battery terminals. Remove drivers airbag (small screwdriver thru holes in back of wheel)..Mark position of steering wheel to column. Undo nut or bolt. Bash wheel to get it off.
Undo connectors. Remove couple of screws holding top cover. There is another 4 screws and a bolt to remove. This should leave you able to pull off the switch. First undo all the connectors and look for one more bolt at the back. When you refit everything you need to maintain a 3mm gap between the switch and the steering wheel. This sounds worse than it is. Good luck.

Indicator changed and surprise surprise its not solved the problem. Wiring checked from ccm, all hazards working perfectly, so the lights are not the problem, switch obviously not the problem, relay/switch has been replaced with a new one, maybe thats faulty as well.

The wiring from the relay on the hazard switch is ok because the hazards work. The indicator stalk is ok. So Either the hazard switch/relay has an internal wiring fault or there is a fault between the indicator stalk and the relay. Look at relay wiring. Black & green is right indicators. Black & white is left indicators. These should both flash 12v on, 0v off when hazards are on.
Black/white/green wire is output to indicator switch. With indicator on (left or right) this wire should flash 12v on, 0v off. Check this same wire is flashing at the indicator stalk. Indicator stalk black/green is right. Black/white is left, check these for 12v on and 0v off. If you use a 12v tester it may affect the speed of flashing. Good luck.
