audi a6 07 mmi basic plus bluetooth

hi bought a 2nd hand audi with mmi basic plus and was wondering if there was a way to check if there is a bluetooth system installed. i get the option to setup up the bluetooth like the pin code and all but when i search for the bluetooth signal from my phone the phone does not pick it up. tried it with a n95 and n97. the car has got a phone connection in the armrest. any help would be appreciated. by the way i also wanted to know what this hidden menu thing is about. what is it. does it give any extra features. i cant find any threads which say wat the hidden menu is. pls clarify for me. thank you

try searching within 5 minutes of turning on the igniton.
