tdi130 vs tdi150

could anyone tell me the difference between the 1.9tdi 130 engine and the 1.9tdi 150??
obviously the power output is different. but what is different on the engines to give the higher output??

There was never a passat 1.9TDI 150BHP

The 1.9TDI was either a 90, 100, 110, 115 and 130BHP

The 150BHP was the early 2.5TDI V6

I think the OP probably wants to know if he can upgrade his PD130 to the PD150 as seen in the Golf, etc.

As far as I can remember the 150, has different cams, intercooler, and turbo at the very least.

Crasher would know, and probably tell him to go down the remap route for more power.

nee need to change engines , a remap will give you at most 175 bhp with 300 ft of torque for around the £200 mark . You just need 2 new front tyres alot sooner than usual
