Na nothing from my dealer, dunno if i should be ringing up everyday to check the status? shall i ? lol

But i do hope to receive it before the end of the month or i will not be happy and be demanding extras!!

18th September. When order was first placed the lease company quoted 31st March. Couple of weeks later (end of September) dealer told me 29 Jan, which seems will be spot on (but of course, it's not over 'til it's over) Order was through Hitachi.

Yes, Joanne is still there! Everytime i call now she always answers! Don't know where the rest of the team have gone!

Should go to germany to drive the vehicle back! it will be alot faster & cheaper than the £440 they quote for delivery! I will call Joanne again on Friday for an update as the 2 ships would have sailed by then, but i think this is just "salesman talk". If car built in week 1 and is in UK today, means Build week 2 will be in UK next week! Dealer keeps going on and on about customs as if its just a fall back on!

At one point when i requested the comm number he said "oh i didn't know you could get direct updates from VW customer service", which i thought i can smell the S*** through the phone he was chatting! Why else would a customer ask for the comm number and he would happily provide it!

Roberts, i think we need to come up with a plan of how to drive Joanne crazy about the delivery of our vehicles! Get the thinking cap on...

I do believe they are very vague on where the car is so they can cover their backs if any delays or mishaps happen.

But i will be phoning up again tomorrow to check the status of the car, but does anyone know how long transport from the docks to the UK takes? I believe its about 3 days??

Ill update tomorrow what VW CS feed me with...

Joanne now says they don't have access to information regarding whether the car has shipped or not, "you have to check with your retailer!".

They are so crap! I'll wait for the dealer to call tommorow! The car better arrive next week!

I rang CS and the car is still at friggin emden awaiting shipment, and they have no dates on when the next available shipment is!!!!!!!!!

Not happy at all, really friggin annoyed! lol

But she did take my number and said she will keep my constantly updated when the status changes....

Just had a call from the dealer who advised mine should set sail either Sat/Sun night, but will definately be in the UK by Wednesday next week, to which i should then hopefully recieve it on Saturday as long as it doesn't get checked by customs, if it does i will have it the following week. If it arrives in UK on Monday, then i have a better chance of it for Saturday. Dealer states once they recieve the car, they will turn it around within 24hrs.
