i have a golf mk3 with an abf engine, i was going down the road the other day and at low revs the car cut out, on initial check it had a good spark, fuel was getting to the combustion chambers but compression was low on cylinders 1,2 and 4 (about 70 - 90 psi) i removed and stripped the engine and rebuilt it with new rings, big ends, cambelt kit, head skim, head gasket, valve stem seals and lapped all the valves. refitted the engine all hooked up now it has good compression (140 - 150 psi) in all cylinders, good spark, and good fuel pressure but still doesnt start, turns over well but doesnt seem to try firing... any help would be much apprieciated as its doing my head in!!! thanks phil
