Back ground info. Narrow street, very restricted parking. I bought a dropped kerb and our house in on the "turning circle" in the street. B4 the kerb was done people would park across the front of our drive as there was nowhere else, thus blocking the drive.

I made a polite notice asking not to park as access is required, it didn't last long so the backup notice i made for such event was indestructable, stuck, glued, framed and screwed to the fence and as an added deterrant, neatly painted in anti burgalar paint.

Kids being kids (we were all one once) would mess it up and get it everywhere. Any how, i tided the sign up the other day, cleaned the notice and applied another coat of paint (this stuff never dries).

came to my car today and some kid had decided to transfer it to my car using sticks.

I found which child it was as he had it all over his hands and all the other kids told me so. So i marched him straight round to his parents, where the responsabile adult (aunt at this point) was informed and she came straight round to inspect.

the paint wiped straight off the car with kitchen roll but before we knew of its easy removal i didn't know if it would of damaged the paintwork.

Any way, all wiped off and car washed, i had plenty of help, you couldn't tell that it had happened.

the photo was taken after the really big lump of paint had already been wiped off the bonnet.

    overall, no damage caused whatsoever.

I thing i have gained a little more respect with the kids tho. This can only be good as they know everything.

i dread to think the costs involved if it needed paint work doing

Wing, Bonnet, Bumper and trim, Light lens, fog light and surround.

    at a guess £1000 ish

still, it got a wash it wasn't expecting.
