does anybody know if audi made a b5 a4 avant 1.9 tdi 115 quattro?

i love the styling of the b5 and need an estate. i currently have a b5 saloon 1.9 tdi 110 which is ok but needs alot more accelerating power. next car is gonna have to last a while so i want to get a nice spec one and do some mods to it.

as far as i know the pd engine has the most potential when remapped?

out of the 2.5tdi and pd 1.9tdi which is the better engine and why?

i'm after the most powerful diesel b5 avant basically

The 2.5 is the most powerful TDI avant - 163bhp.

The 1.9 PdTdi is a newer engine and is less polluting and economical. On the other hand, the 2.5 Tdi has 6 cylinders, 24 valves and it puls from tick over ... If its sheer power you after, then get a 2.5 tdi quattro with the 6 speed manual gearbox and get it chipped to about 200 Bhp and it will still return about 40 Mpg !
