Hi guys, any help here would be great and as a newbie who has limited skills in things such as this any help would be great.

The rear Drivers side passenger door will not open, I have looked through some posts and found that if I give the door a firm tap below the handle the door will then open! What should I do next to ensure it won't completely fail on me or more importantly on my wife?!?

    Many thanks guys.

Hi there, it won't open either way, I tried the palm of hand to the door and it opened! Of course now its locked and won't open again, I can hear the motor going ok and the connections look ok after removing the rubber connection from the door to the pillar
    Any ideas?
    Many thanks

The lock needs replacing,if you are fortunate and do manage to get it open,do not close the door again,as this will save you a lot of work, replacing the lock

the job can take from 1-2 hours if you have done it before, all depends on how long it takes to get the lock to open, once you have accessed it.
