I have a voucher for a free oil change at Kwik Fit but does it have to be the exact VW spec for my A3 2006 2.0tdi (170ps) Quattro?
Any help or recomended oil would be appreciated.
    Cheers......Jimmy

If you are on longlife servicing then you will need an oil that meets the VW507.00 spec.

If it is also fitted with a diesel particulate filter (DPF) then you will again need to use a VW507.00 spec oil, dont use anything else.

    Cheers

It is important to use the correct oil on the 2.0TDI particularly because of the cam driven injector system.

Ensure you use the correct VAG spec oils......check the back of your service book.

Note Audi have chaanged the codes in the last couple of years so your book may be outdated. Call your dealer to check, they are always helpful.

Using the wrong oil can also cause damage to the Turbo bearings/vanes
