Hi all. I'm new to the forum so please forgive me for being useless.

I have an 01 A4 TDI SPort and am having issues with the Drivers door. I has lost all Electrical power and now wont lock off the fob. It's so damn cold here that I cant get the key in the lock to try this either. Basically it starter 5 days ago when I noticed the interior light would not turn off. I opened and slamed the drivers door and it went out. This happened a few more times and now wont turn off at all. It also stops the electric windows working as it has no power in the door (evident when ths lights are on as they buttons do not illuminate).

Added to this I can not lock the car now as I assume the car thinks the door is open! Any Ideas any one please???
    Thanks - Dan
