    Aternoon chaps.

Was thinking about who's in the VAG group and how they rank up as it were.

VW are obviously the run of the mill, middle of the road decent cars. (Or they were before they started putting their prices up!

Audi are the next step up, a bit of luxury for the masses.

Obviously Porsche, Bently, Lamborghini and Bugatti are top marques.

So that leaves Seat and Skoda. Which order are they in, and what qualities do they embody? I always think of Seat as young and sporty, but is that the case. And where are Skoda supposed to fit?

    Hi,

I think that Skoda and Seat are on a par at the lower of the rankings.

Seat produce some nice sporty models, well.. the Ibiza and the Leon, where Skoda havethe VRS range, and the more "older" generation exec level of cars, plus the cheaper solid town run arounds..

It would be intresting to see what the average costs of a Seat & Skoda's are across the range... like an overall average of the cars they produce.

Who wins for build quality ?? - Skoda or Seat ?

    Rick

My guess would be Skoda. Not sure why.

I'm begining to wonder about a Leon instead of a Golf for my next car, albeit in a couple of years time!

I'll try and spec comparable cars tonight.

I looked at a Golf GT TDi and a Leon FR 170 the other night and I think the Leon worked out about £4500 cheaper than the Golf with the spec I'd want.

Would love to know if anyone's got an Exeo and what they make of it?
