    Hi all,

On my 04 A3 Quattro 3.2 the temperature gauge is reading at zero even after a decent drive and whilst driving - and for a few minutes when stopped - the fan keeps whirrign away at its max speed, even after only short journeys.

I am assuming these two problems are linked. My question is, do i risk driving it 50 miles to my nearest dealer to get fixed?! What coudl be the problem. Its still under warrenty...
