No hazard lights

Hi

I found today, my hazards have stopped working on my 98 passat tdi

As far as I can tell the fuses are OK, don't know what to check next?
I guess there is a relay but where?
Any idea how to remove the switch from the dash?

Also many of the electrical functions, i.e elect windows/mirrors int lights have failed. The central locking only operates the front doors, the windows do operate when the key is held over in the door barrel. I know this is probably due to cent conv unit problems but would this affect the hazards as well?

Hi The relay is in the hazard switch Release the switch trim with a flat plastic wedge or suitable screwdriver and remove.
Pull switch out of the now visible frame using a pair of pliers.I can send a pic if you dont understand,need your e-mail address
