I have recently had the front and rear bushes replaced on my 2005 Bora. I have a previous post stating the lightness of steering and wheel spin that occurred whilst accelerating out of a turning.
Today I parked in a parking space that had a parking bollard which was laying flat on the ground. As i drove into the space the car hit the bollard underneath!! Surely this can't be right. i measured the maximum height of the bollard and it's fixture which came to about 95mm max, surely the clearance on the bora should be able to drive over a parking bollard, they are designed to be driven over?
I can reverse into the space fine. Has the front been lowered too much and could this be causing the steering and wheelspin problems?
What should the ground clearance be for a 2005 Bora automatic 1.6
