    Hi all need some advice if possible,
    just purchased a passat se with central locking and the boot wont open with key or remote , anyone had this before or could point me in the right direction to get in it?
    also the fan wont work on the climate control the display alters when you switch it up and down but no fan, any ideas
    its a 2000 car 115 pd if that helps ,
    sorry if im sounding a numpty just got the car recently

    thanks to this forum the heater is now cured , turned the brushes round, i am concerned as to how long they will last though ,

    Hi there regarding the a poss problem is the brushes on the fan motor,I've had this prob with my A4 I removed the fan and turned the brushes round and have had no probs since. As for the boot lock not sure if the back seats fold down on your car to give you access to the boot area if they do you may be able to remove the trim and open the lock from inside. Cheers M

    thanks Marty, i have now gained access to the boot it was seized up ,, thanks for the info on the heater motor ,, aint clue where that may be hiding i dread to think what a job it is to get out ,,,
