Seriously - best car in the world I think

Did 400 miles on Monday - round London, got stuck in all that fun round Gatwick, the M25, M40 (3.5 hours to go 5 miles - ouch) then legged it up to B'ham to pick up my folks (who were supposed to arrive at Gatwick), back across to Cambs then onto home in Suffolk.

Didn't miss a beat. The multitronic in the snow is simply brilliant and even at speed on snow/ice it felt as sure footed as ever......and after a solid 9h52m drive I wasn't feeling too bad......and the Falken ZE912's gave excellent grip despite the crappy weather/snow/ice.

Managed freezing conditions, rain, sleet, snow, ice, fog, freezing fog and brilliant sunshine in one trip....a while year of weather in a day!!

Ofc the car could do with a bit of a clean now though.....

My A4 and my neighbor's Discovery are the only vehicles in the street that can get up the driveway at the moment!

I love my A4 too.. but I love Quattro more.. no matter what Audi I'm driving, gotta be Quattro

I agree, I have the car for 11 months and I am satisfy totaly with car. Before him I had VW Passat with 1.9 tdi AJM 85 kw Station wagon 2000 year, it was great and I had intention to buy again Passat but version which was producted between 2001 to 2004 with 1.9 tdi 96 kw. But I try occasionally Audi A4 Avant with 1.9 tdi 96 kw (which was on same place with other Passats) and I enjoyed in driving. After that I was looking ONLY for Audi and find in Germany one which I am driving now it is a great car, handling, consumption, looking and equipment. Only thing that could be better is space which is a litle bit smaller related to the Passat, but other things satisfy me more than on Passats. My car is Audi A4 Avant 1.9 tdi 96 kw 2004 year with sport suspension, RNS-e, sport's electric and heated seats, four electric windows, woofer, red metalic, alloy wheels. I have intention to upgrade cruise control and sport's wheel (of course when I get some money-crisis ). Here in forum I found how to upgrade and it is great place to get any help and explainations.

B6 is simply the best platform A4 as I see all platforms and own a B6 its by far the best built and most reliable and best value for money Audi.The vw push it doesn't come close but a close match would be the skoda Octavia as this is a gem.Vw lost there way 10 years ago and Audi just blew them out of the water but skoda is the better choice to vw in my humble opinion.

I've got possibly the worst combo for the weather :-) Avant Sport fwd 1.9tdi 130 sport with Multitronic......expected it to be a bit of bother, but it's been an absolute gem :-)
