Annoyingly it has come out with the traction control light coming on frequently. According to their diagnostics it a calibration issue?? They’ve said drive the car for a bit and it may sort itself out otherwise bring it back to them and they’ll sort it under the original warranty claim. Hmmm....
Bloomin 'eck! That's lucky. Did they say how long it took them to do?

The garage quoted 3.1 hours labour to the warranty company who then approved it. It then took them 4 days of trying and two new heat exchangers after the original was thought to be faulty as they couldn’t get it in!

Any idea about the traction control issue? I can see in this thread Can't calibrate steering angle that you can set the steering calibration 360 degrees out but would they have done anything with steering column?? I think I’m going to just take it back to them but very inconvenient to be without my car for another extended period just when I’ve got it back...

    Thanks for your advice Rob.

That is a NASTY job, complete dash out, rare problem though as it is a PQ34 platform unit (Golf 4, Octavia 1, Leon 1, A3 etc etc).
