    i have a 04 a4 tdi 100bhp se was drivin it last week and was doing about 110 on the motorway then has to slow down because of a van then went go give her the power and no power at all.

    stopped and it was going on three pots not 4.
    the engine light was on and the abs.
    drove it on home turning it of and then back on again just to get power did not drive it the next day and the day after that it was fine with no lights on at all.

    it has happened again tonight can anyone help

    You have logged a fault code which could be any one of dozens. The ECU memory will hold the codes so if you want to know what it was you will need a code read. The code will probably be 17965 over boost but the misfire is odd and may come up as a cylinder misfire and probably be number one but as I said, you need a code read.

    have vag com and it came up as cylinder one misfire. no word of over boost.
    have been told that it might be injetcor wiring loom.

    Yes do the injector wiring loom first, that should cure it.
