I havn't read the hand book to learn of the maximum payload, but I hav just put 4, 2foot square paving slabs in the boot of my car.

Avoiding harsh accelerating, cornering and braking they wont move.

So how heavy is a slab?

    Ben

I would say about 10-15 kilos each? You could put in quite a few more with no problems.

Is this a trick question, like how long is a piece of string?

You've got a 4foot square shed? Or are you putting one at each corner? At least get some proper sized ones

I filled the back of my old Golf with rubble - back seats down, tarp to cover everything. It was very light on the front end, and almost impossible to steer.

When I unloaded at the local dump (with help from one of the lads who worked there) he said it was the most he'd ever seen in a car / trailer ever.

    I was so proud.

I had at least 16 breeze blocks and other assorted lumps of rubble so I think you'll be fine with four pavings slabs.
