    Hi all this is my first post and am sure many more to come lol.

    Right im looking for a haynes manual for my 1997 A4 2.4 V6 Advent?

    I cant find one anywhere, all i can find are the 4cliynder ones?

    any ideas or a link to where i can buy one?

    im wanting to do my own servicing etc

    they dont exist, only cover 4 cyl petrol and diesel
    covers loads of other stuff thats the same, brakes, bodywork suspension etc...just not engine
    and its an avant not an advent

    That isn't ENTIRELY the case.

    The BENTLEY manual exists for the 2.8 avant, which is incredibly incredibly similar. For almost all your repair concerns, the 2.8 manual should work fine.

    We have it in CD form (which covers all b5 cars) or Paperback which covers it in 1.8t and 2.8 cars. The 1.8 motor you have over there is VERY similar to our 1.8t as well.

    Since the US spec cars and most Euro Spec cars have the same interiors, brakes, and suspension, you should find those manuals useful.

    Also, the CD has an active code diagnoser. If you scan your car and get a code, you input it into the cd and presto, it tells you what it means.
