    Default Sidelight bulbs – 07-12-2009,02:06 PM
    My '07 GT TDI (140) is telling me that nearside front 'parking' bulb is faulty...very nice of it to do so. However as I have ordinary hands/fingers and am not a contortionists I can't get in to even remove the bulb holder. Does it unscrew/just pull out....any ideas would be helpful as I don't really want to follow the handbook advice & take to a qualified VW technician to resolve!

    hi
    this caused me problems also i have a 2005 mk5 and it just pulled out but gotta say it was stuck in there good just patience and small hands

    Ta mate, thought that would be the case, will have another go...just worried I'd come away with wires and no bulb holder!!!

    A pair of thin nosed pliers and small hands Make sure you grip the bulb holder and not the wires then wiggle away
