I fitted a set of led light's to my Sharan when i started the car the engine managment light came on I also had the carpet out due to spilled milk. I did not think the engine light would have anything to do with the bulbs as they were all working. I took it to a vw garage they spent 5 hours looking for a problem tried a thinking it was a broken wire only for them to tell me it was the bulbs I had fitted that were the cause of the problem 10 min before they had finished not pleased £150 for two bulbs and a rubbish wash

I've posted on here before about the dangers of fitting rubbish led bulbs. You must get the resistance correct or the car ecu doesn't like it. It's like detecting a bulb failure. Sorry you got caught like this, it's a common problem on lots of cars.
