    Thanks guys, i'll wait till the car tells me it wants servicing and get the dealer to look at it then.

    Who ever thaught of double locking disarming the deadlock is daft, it shud be double click to fully lock down the car!

    Just out of interest- why would people want the deadlocks deactivated??

    I know this is an old thread but i seem to have an issue with my Alarm LED light too.

    It seems to

    When armed it gives
    3 quick Flashes
    Stays on fully for about 5 seconds
    Then starts to flash.

    Im sure it only quick flashed then went to normal flashes before?
    Shadow blue GTI 5 door.

    Yes Keith its me. I had to use a different name as someone else has Snoopy over here.
    Thanks for helping over there with this issue im having its much apreciated.

    For reference we now know its the siren not working. If anyone else notices their LED doingwhat mine was doing be warned your siren will not sound.
