    Hi

    I this is my 1st VW and have recently signed up to this great forum .

    I have read the posts regarding the tailgate opening problems

    and I believe that it is the microswitch in my taligate door that is causing all my issues. Is this microswitch a main dealer part only or can I get it from elsewhere ??


    Also thinking of getting criuse control in my TDI Highline, are there any models that cant be upgraded ?? I am based in the West Midlands and I am not sure if there is anybody located in this area that can be recommended otherwise I am thinking of using Happy Daz ltd as they look good value for money and have had good reviews.

    See your other post. Any passat with the fly by wire accelerator can have cruise fitted. That means all post 2001 and most from 1999 0n.
