VAG parts!

Hi all,

This is my 1st post so i hope you will all be helpful and friendly to me!!!

I Have recently bought a joblot of VAG parts (approx1500) ranging from brake caliper springs for the golfmk1 to rear light units for the vw Passat 92, the problem i have and hope someone can help, is that i have a lot of parts with the part number, but cant find out what car or the part is for. I have tried the VAG parts catalogue but its showing alot of the parts as "not found" whether its a modern site and as alot of the parts are pre 85 are not listed anymore i dont no. so if anyone can give me direction in which to find out what these parts are for will be most grateful

Post the list and I will have a look but to do a definitive list would take hours and you would have to pay someone to do it. I will take a look for you though, there may be some interesting pickings.

Cheers Crasher, havnt got a list as such just boxes and boxes of parts most in original packaging with the original order slips can put a few on to give you a taster??

I am interested in Golf 1 and 2 parts, as a general rule these start 171or 172 and 191 or 192 respectively. Drawing up a list would be a very sensible move, no one is going to know what you have otherwise. I bought a van load of parts just like this last week and I am cataloguing and IDing them all so they are easier to sell.
