    hi need sum help if any 1 can , the car starts then cuts out as tho it is being starved of fuel i have checked the air filter thats fine fuel pump sounds to be buzzin i suspect it may be down to the injecters has any body had a prblem like this please help thanks chris

    Do you have any amber warning lamp flashing on the instrument cluster? This could be the Immobiliser.Same symptoms as you describe.If not,does the engine fire straight off key,or does it crank for a while before firing?

    Yes take a look out for the yellow car with a key icon, sounds exactly like immobiliser symptoms.

    thanks but imobiliser has cheacked nothing to do with that i had it running 2day it runs fine but only at high revs and smokes alot then whe it is let to idle it will be ok for ten secounds or so then sounds like its run out of juice and dies ive had it on the scanner and it is showing no fault codes thanks again for your help please any more advice chris

    Have you checked all your vacuum pipes for leaks?

    As a check,test the Needle Lift Sensor Injector(wire attatched to it), around 110 Ohms is ok.
